We had a great time at the event eCerveza eBarbacoa ePaAmbOli along with Andreu Llabrés, Maribel Rincón, Johana Cavalcanti, Pepper Santblai, Gaby Castellanos and everyone who showed up. From the terraces of Hotel Horizonte in Palma de Mallorca we had the chance to connect offline and hear the latest from our friends in the online world. We also had the chance to chat about our latest venture, CholloCity, a project I will share more about in the coming days.

Firedance in Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Every year in late January the city of Palma de Mallorca, celebrates its official saint “San Sebastian” in the most unique tradition I’ve ever seen, with Correfocs. People from the entire island descend to fill the streets of Palma and dance along with the devils on a procesion that leads to the foot of the Cathedral and ends with a beautiful display of Fireworks (Atiar Foc).

This year I brought along my camera to try to catch a glimpse into the emotion and excitement found in these Fiestas de San Sebastian. I hope you enjoy it.

During my holidays in the Riviera Maya, I came across many people of all ages and nationalities, immersed in the world of the Web, and numerous examples of how people are taking advantage of it to find their vacation spots, plan their trips, or just share their unforgettable memories with theirs.

On my last day I had the opportunity to be in a special place called Chichen Itza, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world, in the state of Yucatan. Here I recorded this message of support and encouragement for those who still haven’t taken the step forward into this exciting and wonderful world of the Web. Note: video is in Spanish.
