I’m glad I was able to get her permission to post it here, because nothing excites me more than the opportunity to show you how united and loving this family is on this special night.

When IB3 first contacted me about recording this we needed to come up with a location, and I’d like to thank Andreu Llabrés for letting us borrow the very same room where we first recorded the 24 hour Timelapse of Palma de Mallorca’s Bay video. What better location to talk about timelapse than this one (it certainly beats the views from my office).

Thank you Spain! For many things, but above all, for making me feel like a child again.

These images were filmed during the celebration of the World Cup in the Cafeteria Mistic in Arenal, Mallorca, Spain. I simply don’t have words to describe the emotion and feeling of having seen first hands how people from all backgrounds came together to celebrate such a special night.

Special thanks to Noelia and Pedro, to everyone who came out to celebrate the World Cup, and to the National Spanish Team for making history.

The previous day I had the pleasure to watch David Bisbal sing the song “Wavin’ Flag” from K’NAAN, in a concert in the middle of the Plaza de Toros (bullfighting ring) of Palma de Mallorca, as hundreds of flags were waved, and in that moment I knew I wanted to make something special with this song.

As I edited the video (and tried to hold back tears of emotion), this song kept playing in my head as it described best the feeling we all experienced together on this special night.

A day to celebrate the revolution of media becoming social.

Here in Palma de Mallorca, we had a great event right by the waterfront, and it was a blast to meet and connect with so many different people while enjoying the views from the terrace of the BLD Restaurant.

I wanted to mark the occasion with a video timelapse of the event and here’s the final result.

Javier is a very active person in Internet in Spain, and an entrepreneur with great experience having founded among others Loogic, Inventa Internet, Hostarting and Recomendar.com.

This morning I had the pleasure to talk to him from the terrace of Hotel Horizonte, where he shared with us his impressions from the event, his challenges this year, and a few words of advice for those seeking to start a new business in Internet.

My first experience with one of the traditional Christmas Markets of Europe was in Stuttgart. It was a cold december night, but between all the people walking by looking at the hand made toys and decorations, and the Glühwein (mulled wine), it was impossible to feel anything but warm.

This Christmas I had the chance to visit Munich and Nuremberg during a business trip to Germany, and it was the perfect time to go out at night and catch some of the action that goes on in their Christmas Markets. I hope you like this film.

Filmed with a Canon DSLR 7D, a 50mm lens, and a LCD ViewFinder. Edit in Final Cut Pro.

I first felt in love with it when I watched the films “Baraka” and “Koyaanisqatsi: Life out of Balance“, where it is used heavily to show everyday life from a different perspective.

For some time I wanted to create a Timelapse of Palma de Mallorca’s Bay, in Spain.  There’s magic in this Bay and after 24 hours and 4320 photographs, (and a little help from the weather gods!) here’s what came out.

Filmed with a Canon DSLR 7D, and a 17-40mm lens. One photo taken every 20 seconds remotely with a intervalometer. Put together in Quicktime Pro, and final edit in Final Cut Pro.

Music is Hymn by Moby.
